I am Clinical Director of a local non-profit behavioral health agency. I received my BA from University of Wisconsin, MS in Teaching from Wheelock College and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University. I have been an Adjunct Professor and currently supervise and teach in a clinical setting. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three teenagers as well as my aging parents and extended family. When it comes to senior care, Fairfield Home Care Assistance have an experienced team to manage every senior client.
I am a Finance and Operations executive with 20 years of experience working in the United States and internationally. I earned my BA from Bowdoin College and MBA from Harvard Business School. My interest in senior care dates back to memories of my elderly grandmother who aged with a zest for life thanks in large part to the devotion of her caregiver. My grandmother was a model for healthy aging at home. I started Home Care Assistance of Fairfield to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and the families who care for the them.
Anja joined Home Care Assistance in 2017, combining her interest in nursing with elder care. She received her RN degree from St. Vincent’s College of Nursing. As the Client Care Manager, Anja performs client consultations to assess care needs, creates patient-centered care plans, facilitates family meetings, oversees the work of caregivers and coordinates with social workers, nurses and other hospital and assisted living professionals. She loves working with older adults and believes that our clients can live long, vibrant and independent lives while aging at home. Anja also leads our Cognitive Therapeutics (Brain Health) and Music Therapy programs.
Barbara Lee is a graduate of Manhattan College who majored in Psychology. She worked as an Officer Manager for Positive Directions, a mental health agency, for many years.
She became interested in Home Health Care after taking care of her own ageing parents and learning how our lives change as we age. Having become familiar with the Home Health Aide process with her parents, she understands how important it is to find the “right caregiver” to the overall well being of family members.
Her role at Home Care Assistance is to schedule caregivers and to assist with finding qualified compassionate caregivers as well as providing support to the caregivers. She looks forward to finding the perfect caregiver for each client.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
