According to a recent survey conducted by the National Council on Aging, when seniors were asked what is the most important aspect of maintaining a high quality of life, staying connected to friends and family was the top choice, ahead of having financial means.
The survey continues to support the idea that seniors are driven by a desire for connectedness, something that can often only happen in familiar, safe and comfortable surroundings.
